About the Bands:

🎷Second Hand News consists of acoustic guitar, hand percussion, saxophone, and ranges from bluegrass licks to rock and roll, and some tasty jams in between. Packed full of vocal harmonies and some friendly banter with the audience. They’ve been playing music together for 15 years.

🎧 The Pharaohs DJs are a collective specializing in using authentic vinyl records with a touch of modern technology. Their musical selections include Oldies, B-sides, Rare Cuts, Authentic Rockabilly, Vintage Rock-n-Roll, Motown/Soul, Surf Rock, Country/Bluegrass, Reggae, 80’s, New Wave & MTV Era Post-Punk, Classic Disco, Cocktail Lounge Fare/Exotica, Downtempo/Trip Hop, Hip-Hop, House, and Drum & Bass.

🎸 Splitwave is a high-octane, alt-rock group, dubbed a “Pure-Energy Local Favorite” by BrightBell Music Company for their dynamic and crowd-inviting performances. In 2024, the band won first place “Crowd Favorite” at Clemson WSBF Radio’s annual Battle Of The Bands, and the one-of-a-kind music video for their single “Tatters” was recognized by the Berlin Music Video Awards for its creative and chaotic visuals.

🎹 Adam Knight’s Buried Alive (Tribute to Phish) is an exceptional group of musicians brought together by multi-genre guitarist and Phish devotee, Adam Knight, to celebrate the music of Phish. Adam Knight’s Buried Alive is known for precisely executing the most complex Phish compositions. The band uses their favorite Phish tunes as a launching pad for their own high-energy, intense jams. This cathartic celebration is what phans live for.

🎺 The Greenville Jazz Collective preserves and promotes jazz in Upstate South Carolina. GJC stewards this important American art form through the promotion of live performance to support our local musicians, as well as educational events and programs to nurture the next generation of jazz musicians. The jam is open to all ages and skill levels.
