Alternative rock with Jazz roots and orchestral emotion, Hugh McCulloch Band is a Greenville SC native music group. Founder, creative, and front man Hugh McCulloch is a Pianist, Guitar player, Singer, a musician but most of all a song writer. Lyrically, Hugh’s songs are a collage of personal experiences, 3rd person character studies, flashes of cinema and pop culture, poetic musing, and sometimes all-out hallucinations. Pulling the ear of evergreen songwriting of the Golden era’s throughout modern music history. HMB hopes its music will live and breathe in a purgatory between old and new, invoking familiar feelings that came with our favorite songs and creating a sound track to reminisce.
