Learn More About Our Artists:

🌞 Brother Oliver is a psychedelic / folk-rock band from Greenville, SC. They have been critically acclaimed by major outlets such as HuffPost, American Songwriter, PopMatters—and their music has been featured in Film & TV soundtracks on HBO and PBS. The brothers, Andrew P. Oliver and Stephen Oliver, star in the new movie How To Break A World Record on Apple TV & Prime Video.

🌞 Darby Wilcox is a singer-songwriter from Greenville, SC. Using her soulful voice and booming stage presence, she has spent the last twelve years as a powerful force in the Upstate’s music scene, leaving her audiences captivated, charmed and fascinated.

🌞 The Upstate’s own Swamp Rabbit Bluegrass Band is a brand new venture that has burst onto the scene with their fresh cut sounds of “homegrown grass.” This four-piece ensemble is pushing the limits of acoustic music while encompassing the foot stomping drive of authentic bluegrass in tandem with invigorating original music. This cast contains musical veterans that have each shined on major stages such as Albino Skunk Fest, The Peace Center, The Houston Rodeo, Camp Springs, Fall for Greenville, Artisphere, and other notable billings. Band members include Matt Purinton and Sam Kruer who’ve masterfully hosted our Open Acoustic & Bluegrass Jam over the past two years!

🌞 Iliana Rose is a remarkably talented musician whose artistry is deeply influenced by her Cuban heritage. Born in Miami, she landed in the Upstate by way of Los Angeles. Iliana founded the Iliana Rose Cuban Jazz Band and quickly established herself as a force in the music industry. She has collaborated with some of the world’s finest musicians, was the pianist and musical director for the national TV show Noches Con Platanito, founded her own publishing company, In Step Original Music, is the Director of the JazzArts Nuestro Tiempo Latin Jazz Youth Ensemble in Charlotte, NC, and is a proud member of the board at the Sigal Music Museum in Greenville, SC and much more.

🌞 With a voice that summons the guttural howls of John Fogerty, and guitar work that ranges from the front porch to outer space, Ross Osteen has joined the powerful blues/rock scene of the deep south. The Ross Osteen Band has played shows from Georgia to New York to Chicago, with a very memorable appearance with Buddy Guy on one of their songs titled “Hold Back”, all the while, growing a local fan base in Western North Carolina where the songwriter was born. Ross Osteen Band continues to hone their sound into an energetic blend of blues, roots and Southern rock.

🌞 Hailing from the Upstate, the members of Yacht Rando are brought together by a deep love of the golden age of vacation, soft rock and pastel colours. Passionate about details, Yacht Rando strives to put on a high energy show that can still chill you out, as you reminisce about a simpler time to the mellow sounds of Toto and Robbie Dupree. So grab a craft beer, relax, and steal away with Yacht Rando. (And yes, this is Randomomium, a beloved local band, doing a Yacht Rock show!)

🌞 Originally from the Sandhills of South Carolina, Vilai Harrington grew up firmly planted in his soulful country upbringing. Complemented by The Hamptones consisting of Josh Riley on bass, Adam Bachman on dobro, Joe Tamburro on percussion, and Jake Garrett on pedal steel and guitar (each representing different regions in the state), the group captures their Appalachian musical roots and puts a modern Americana spin on it. The results are folk songs with a unique swagger and country twang driven by emotive and wholly satisfying vocals.

🌞 A music minister’s daughter turned fierce front-woman from Gastonia, NC, Abby Bryant has cemented her presence as a standout in Americana and soul. Forming the beginnings her band and duo with her friend from back home, Bailey Faulkner, Bryant merged her love of the sound of soul and American roots music embodied by artists like Etta James and Bonnie Raitt with Faulkner’s similar passion for American blues and Faces-style rock.

🌞 This project formed in Naples, FL, but with a fresh start in Upstate South Carolina, and a new band name — Wilder Things Than Us — began to hone in their own sound and writing style. They marry the earthiness of Appalachian music with everything else. They’ve been described as “Progressive Bluegrass” and “Folk Rock”, but they are not committed to a genre. A fan once affectionately dubbed their sound “Zappalachian,” which they very much appreciate. Between original and cover material, you’ll hear jazz, blues, punk – no genre is safe.
