Fireforge Crafted Beer recently brought home the gold for Best IPA at the 2024 SC Brewers Cup competition.

Presented by the South Carolina Brewers Guild at its annual conference and trade show, beer experts from across the state judged submissions by 48 SC breweries, announcing winners in 19 categories.

Fireforge’s Spirito Santo, a 7.2% ABV citrus-forward American IPA brewed with Southeastern-grown Carolina Malt House Carolina Gold 2-Row Barley, snagged the top IPA honor. The SC Brewers Guild IPA category is one of the top three categories by amount of entries received.

“Spirito Santo’s balance of malty and hoppy is consistently a favorite of our taproom guests, so it’s exciting to see it also garner recognition from the SC Brewers Cup panel of experts,” said Fireforge Co-Founders Brian and Nicole Cendrowski.
